Property Data Coordinator

The Bureau has an extensive property portfolio located throughout the Australian mainland and adjacent islands comprising 51 staffed locations, 4 data centres, 37 weather surveillance radar sites and approximately 8,601 instrumentation sites. The Property Services function is responsible for the delivery of facilities management and leasing services, together with the provision of strategic property advice ensuring that our facilities support the Bureau’s activities and outcomes.

As the Property Data Coordinator, you will report to the Accommodation Planner, and be responsible for the coordination and management of Property Services portfolio data, comprising of property agreements, asset registers and property management documentation. You will contribute to the development and implementation of data management processes, consistent with the Bureau’s data and information management policies and procedures. A key focus of the role will be the stewardship of existing property data, coordination and management of data repositories and regular data audits.

The successful applicant will possess the following attributes:

  • Results focused with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong written and oral communication including demonstrated interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude to relationship building with relevant stakeholders
  • Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Sharepoint and data visualisation tools (PowerBI)
  • Well-developed data management, auditing, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to operate with a strategic focus
