You will be assisting in delivering accounting/audit services to range of clients and undertaking business development activities and ability to identify opportunities.

Roles, Responsibilities and Interpersonal Skills

Client and Engagement Management

  • Proactively assist Managers/Senior Managers with their client portfolios;
  • Ensure engagements are in compliance with audit standards and internal quality procedures;
  • Addressing & discussing with clients any technical audit issues identified during the course of the audit and assurance engagements; 
  • Build and maintain strong networks internally and externally;;
  • Establish effective working relationships directly with clients and key stakeholders.;


  • Participating at the planning, execution and wrap-up stages of audit engagements; by agreeing budgets, timetables and any over-runs with clients;
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of complex accounting transactions, and auditing concepts, and understanding of the various accounting standards, i.e. IFRS,  as part of our audit engagements and apply them to client situations;
  • Direct field work, manage engagement economics and inform supervisors executives of the audit engagement status;
  • Preparation of  client deliverables including the financial statements, management letters,  and transmittal letter and any other deliverables;
  • Assess the impact of new accounting standards, proposed transactions or other regulatory and law changes;
  • Ensure work is of a high quality, delivered in a timely fashion and in compliance with firm policies;
  • Develop self by actively seeking opportunities for growth, shares knowledge and experiences with others, and acts as a strong brand ambassador;

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum of 4- years of experience working in an external audit firm; as an auditor
  • Pursuing a professional qualification such as ACCA/CPA/CA/ICAEW;
  • Proven experience with IFRS and IPSAS;
  • Previous experience from a Top Audit firm; ‘Big 4’ background is highly desirable; and
  • Experience in auditing financial and operational controls within a wide range of business processes, preferably  within IT/Technology companies
